Pub News

Whyte Harte Hotel, Bletchingley - has re-opened.

Bell Inn, Godstone - re-opens next week following refurbishment.

Crown, Westcott - closed with a For Sale sign. Believed to have received planning permission for conversion to accommodation.

Godstone Inn, Godstone - have contacted to state that although they are listed in Whatpub they are a hotel not a pub, but that their bar is open to non-residents.

Royal Oak, Staffhurst Wood - has re-opened following refurbishment.

Surrey Oaks, Newdigate – the planning application to build an extension is believed to have been refused.

Three Horseshoes, Cranleigh – due to close first week of March for refurbishment.

William IV, Bletchingley – a planning application for demolition has been submitted.

Brewery News

Dorking Brewery - Want to host a CAMRA open day on Saturday 6th June.

Felday Brewery - Nothing to report.

The Godstone Brewers - The relocation to the next door unit is progressing.

Leith Hill Brewery - Nothing to report.

Oxted Brewery - Two final beers are planned.

Pilgrim Brewery - The tap room is to stop selling beers from other breweries to make room for more experimental brews.

Surrey Hills Brewery - Collusion XV is out.

Tillingbourne Brewery - Nothing to report.

Titsey Brewing Co. - Richard Newberry is now representing the brewery as a salesman. A 5.1% English Pale Ale should be available in March. Parking arrangements for the wedding facility are being reconsidered.
