Promoting and Supporting Pubs

CAMRA isn't just about beer and beer festivals. Our branch, and CAMRA as a whole, participate in a number of activities that support and promote the Great British pub and we campaign actively against issues affecting pub goers, pubs, licensees and breweries.

One of the many tasks undertaken by CAMRA is the cataloguing of historic pub interiors, through our Pub Heritage programme.

There's also a maintained list of Heritage Pubs in our branch area.

Is Your Local Under Threat of Closure?

There's a wealth of resources available in CAMRA's Save Your Local online toolkit.

We are always looking at ways we can help a pub or its community prevent a pub's closure. However, in all cases, early warning is essential. If you know of a pub that is threatened by closure, please do tell us!
