Small bar in a 17th century lock up adjacent to Morrisons supermarket. Keg and bottled beer only are sold, although a couple of beers from By the Horns are to be found amongst the former. The upstairs bar tends to be open from Thursday to Saturday during bad weather with the outside area being popular when it is nice. Live music is usually performed on Saturday and summer Friday nights and bank holiday Sundays, with open mic nights being the last Wednesday of the month. Live BT sport is shown. It was announced at the end of September 2024 that the pub had been bought by Pilgrim Brrwery, so things will change.
