This two bar pub, formerly the Onslow Arms, is food orientated, but there are four good local ales available (this may be reduced to three in winter). The pub opens for breakfast each day, but does not serve alcoholic drinks until midday. The right hand bar, which has bare boards, has a restaurant area which can be used by drinkers as well, while the left hand side, where the floor is tiled, has three separate areas and comfortable seats. Children are welcome with toys, high chairs and colouring books available and there are baby change facilities in the disabled toilet. The old pub sign is in the small courtyard at the back and there are a few seats outside the front of the pub. There a private dining room which can also be used for small meetings. Ten ensuite bedrooms available.
