The boundaries of the branch where somewhat extended on Saturday 5th July 2025 when several volunteers and members of the Redhill Beer Festival committee made the long journey to Scarborough in North Yorkshire to present the North Riding Brewery with their certificates for both winning and coming runner up in the 2024 Beer of the Festival competition.

To recap, their Choc N Nut Porter won beer of the festival, with their Bakewell Tart Stout coming in the runner's up position. To celebrate this achievement, we thought it was only right to make our way to their brewpub just off the Scarborough seafront to hand over their certificates.

On the day itself we found their Ernest Pale, Peasholm Pale and Toasted Marshmallow Stout all being served, along with a couple of guest ales as well.
