Bermondsey Beer Mile Social Report
Saturday 26th September 2026 saw a group of branch members travel by train up to London Bridge to visit a number of venues along the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile. First stop on the tour was The Kernel Brewery Taproom, where we found two of their ales on cask (Summer Pale Mosaic and Running Porter) alongside a large selection of their keg beers.
Next stop was Craft Beer Junction, where there was a choice of 12 craft beers to choose from, including a fruit sour from Poland, alongside some offerings from breweries slightly closer to home.
Third stop was the Against the Grain Taproom and Cidery, where most of the group sampled their cherry and hibiscus cider, called Six Ways to Sunday. We then proceeded a few doors down to the Cloudwater Brewery venue at 73 Enid Street, where we found one of their ales on hand pump plus a large number of their other brews in keg form.
Next, and probably the most eagerly awaited stop, was the Dutch taproom, It Ain’t Much If It Ain’t Dutch. Here we were greeted by a selection of around 36 beers from Holland, some of which had some very potent ABV values!
Final call before we headed for home was the Anspach and Hobday taproom.
